The spring birds arrived in the winter
The rain came in place of the snow
The wind stormed when it should have been calmer
Not an odd moment but a permanent change in the weather
The vast ice calves left their ice mothers
Crashing into the warming ocean rapidly growing
Unstoppable waves swept inland and upland
The coast was covered by water relentlessly flowing.
We successfully poisoned every single fish in the seas
Once flourishing coral beds languished and died
Not one single flower could bloom without visiting bees.
If you happen to think that homo sapiens survived….
