What power is loose in the world!
Too late, too late
We have woken her from her long nap
She has begun cleaning her earth
And will not stop until the shores are empty of life
All animals are extinguished
Excepting the very tiny /pure and simple
To begin again to begin again
As she has done so many times before.
What power is loose in the world?
Too late too late
To stop the greed
the misuse of water/land/trees
Especially the trees
She loved the snakes and the birds
And the strange colorful insects.
She loved us once, too
All these marvels will be erased
Her anger is loose in the world now
Too late, too late
She is ready to begin again/begin again
Ready to delete all life
Start over and try harder.
